George Krietman (Identification Number: 6903-50) is a minor character in Doom 3. A research assistant assigned to Sector 1 of the Alpha Labs, he survived the initial wave of the invasion by attempting to stabilize the Hydrocons in a very tight, well-hidden corner.
When the player meets Krietman, he is startled by the player's sudden appearance, but is grateful not to be alone, as he notices it's been eerily quiet around him. Explaining that the Hydrocon is unstable, he warns the player that shooting through its glass shields can blow up the whole area. He further states that he will continue stabilizing the Hydrocon before heading to the science office. If the player persists in speaking to him, he will reaffirm that he has to stabilize the Hydrocon and that it has to work safely.
