Doom 3
R. Cooper is a Mars-Sec security guard stationed at Landing Bay 1 in Mars City. He inspects cargo logs of space transports, greets new arrivals, and directs them where to go. He wears a standard Mars-Sec uniform and helmet with goggles, and carries a standard PDA.
When the player meets him, he asks them to head directly to reception. If the player persists, he says he is too busy — he has to process the cargo log and send it to Central Authority.
His fate is unknown, though he was most likely killed or turned into a Z-Sec during the demon invasion.
Trivia
- Killing Cooper (with cheats) will not make him drop his PDA.
- With the Trent Reznor sound mod, Cooper's voice becomes the “One man stands between Hell and Earth” speech from the Doom 3 Alpha intro.
- His name may reference a character named Richard Cooper in the 1995 sci-fi film Screamers.
